OUR HISTORY
Champion Taekwondo Academy was founded to provide students of all ages with a positive environment to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally through traditional Taekwondo training. Led by Master S.T. Kim, the academy emphasizes discipline, focus, confidence, and leadership while preserving the traditions and philosophy of Kukkiwon Taekwondo. Over the years, the school has helped countless students build stronger character, improve fitness, and develop lifelong self-defense skills. The academy continues to serve families throughout the Sugar Hill area with high-quality martial arts instruction and community-centered values.
Master S.T. Kim — Founder & Head Instructor
MEET MASTER S.T. KIM
Master S.T. Kim began studying Taekwondo at the age of eight and is a 6th Degree Kukkiwon Certified Black Belt. He has served as Vice President of the Korean American Taekwondo Union Team, worked in Korean sports for over 10 years, and is a certified WT International Referee and Master Instructor. Master Kim has earned numerous awards and recognitions from World Taekwondo, Kukkiwon, and Korean government organizations for his dedication to martial arts and leadership development.
Master S.T. Kim is dedicated to helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, and life skills through martial arts training. His classes focus on creating a positive, safe, and motivating environment where students can improve physically and mentally while developing strong character and self-defense abilities.
